Thermodynamic analysis of a thermoelectric air conditioner

چکیده

This paper discusses the results of tests done to investigate performance a thermoelectric air conditioner (TEAC). The TEAC is composed twelve modules (TEMs). TEMs were fixed rectangular fin heat sinks on both their hot and cold sides. With an increased input<em> </em>voltage, cooling capacity increased. At 6 V input voltage flow, suitable condition occurred. rate flow was 0.48 kg/min, 157.0 W, resulting in outlet<em> </em>air temperature 28 <sup>o</sup>C. coefficient (COP) calculated found be 0.92. Exergy analysis used determine energy flows second law efficiencies system its components. exergy destruction efficiency observed increase when TEAC's </em>voltage maximum 0.35, which low compared performance.
